Job Responsibilities of XRT + Medical Assistant:
- Perform basic X-ray imaging, EKGs, and perform common medical assistant duties with urgent care patients.
- Give injections or treatments & perform routine tests.
- Venipunctures, EKGs, blood draws, and injections
- Take vitals such as pulse, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height, and record information on patient charts.
- Assist providers in performing minor procedures.
Compensation & Scheduling of XRT/MA Position:
- Starting hourly rate up to $33 per hour.
- Full-time = only three days per week!

Qualifications of XRT/MA Position:
- Current XRT permit issued by California Department of Public Health is required. (Sorry, we are unable to consider candidates who do not possess an XRT permit.)
- Vocational certificate as a medical assistant is also required.
- CPT I Phlebotomy Certificate
- Experience performing EKGs, phlebotomy/blood draws, taking vital signs, and IM injections.
- BLS certification.
- Preferred: Expanded scope, including digital radiography, chest, extremities, and torso skeletal imaging.
